What should I look for in a good car charger?

Is 12V fast charging?

A standard 12V socket alone isn't fast charging, it's the charger's internal circuitry that determines that. FCS-10 takes a standard 12V-24V input and converts it into PD 30W, QC 18W, and PPS 33W fast charging output across its ports.

Can this charger fully charge a laptop?

It depends on the laptop. At 30W PD output, FCS-10 can charge smaller, lower-power laptops and help maintain charge on larger ones, but higher-power laptops that require 45W or more to charge while in use may charge slowly or only maintain their current level rather than charge up quickly.

Does the retractable cable support fast charging?

The built-in retractable cable outputs up to PD 30W. So, yes, it supports fast charging.

Can I use more than one port at the same time?

Yes, the USB-A port, USB-C port, and retractable cable can all be used at once, sharing a combined maximum output of 84W across whichever are active.

What is PPS, and does this charger support it?

PPS (Programmable Power Supply) allows the charger to fine-tune voltage and current in real time for compatible devices, commonly used in Samsung Super Fast Charging. FCS-10 supports PPS output up to 33W.

Will FCS-10 drain my car battery if I leave it plugged in?

It only draws power when it's actively charging a device, an idle charger with nothing connected pulls negligible power. As general practice, though, it's still a good habit to unplug it if your car is going to sit unused for an extended period.

Is FCS-10 compatible with both iPhone and Android devices?

Yes, since it runs on standard PD and QC fast charging protocols, both are recognized across iPhone and Android devices.
